Cala Caari is built on two enduring roots of Indian art and culture—Indian Craft and Indian Cinema. Though distinct in their expression, both are storytellers of our heritage. One is shaped by the skilled hands of artisans, the other by the imagination of filmmakers. Together, they preserve memories, celebrate creativity and connect generations.

Our Craft collection celebrates the richness of India's handicrafts and handloom traditions. Every product is thoughtfully curated, designed and developed in collaboration with artisans and makers who carry forward centuries-old skills. We believe that every handcrafted piece has a story to tell—of the region it comes from, the traditions it represents, the hands that created it and the people whose lives are woven into it. Each product carries the colours, textures, fragrance and spirit of its place of origin, making it much more than an object—it becomes a piece of living heritage.

Indian Cinema

Our Cinema collection is a tribute to the timeless legacy of vintage, classic and cult Hindi cinema. Inspired by unforgettable films, iconic characters, memorable moments and the artistic soul of Indian cinema, we create original, thoughtfully designed merchandise that celebrates nostalgia. Our range includes original paintings, art prints, apparel, T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, mugs, film posters, cinema-based original paintings, home décor, collectibles and other cinema-inspired creations. Rather than simply reproducing images, we seek to capture the emotions, aesthetics and enduring cultural influence of classic cinema through original artistic expression.

Sudeep Thakur - Creator of HindiFilmography

Sudeep Thakur

Founder – Cinema Division (Creator of HindiFilmography)

A pathologist by profession with a lifelong passion for Hindi cinema. Having spent years documenting and celebrating cinematic legacy during the pandemic via @hindifilmography, he brings vintage charm and nostalgia to Cala Caari's exclusive collection.
