Our Story

A Journey of Home, Heart & Heritage

Bringing the beauty of Indian craftsmanship and thoughtful living into contemporary homes.

Early Lessons in Home & Craftsmanship

My love for beautiful homes and Indian craftsmanship began much before I ever imagined turning it into a journey of my own. I grew up in a government colony, as my father’s profession meant that our family lived a simple and close-knit life there. It was a modest upbringing, filled with little joys, everyday rituals and memories that have stayed with me. At the heart of our home was my mother. I grew up watching her transform our home with an effortless sense of aesthetics. There was never a need for extravagance or expensive things. She simply knew how to bring together colours, textures, objects and spaces in a way that made everything feel warm, beautiful and alive. I would often sit beside her, helping decide where a particular object should go, which corner needed something, or how a simple arrangement could make a space look more beautiful. Without realising it, I was learning my first lessons in the art of creating a home.

Fascination with Indian Crafts

My father’s work gave me another window into the many artistic traditions of India. His professional commitments often took him to different parts of the country for meetings and workshops. Whenever he returned, he would sometimes bring back something special from the place he had visited—a piece of handloom, a handcrafted object, or something distinctive to that region. Those objects fascinated me. I would wonder: Who made this? How was it made? How many hands and hours went into creating it? Was it made by a machine or crafted by hand? What story does this piece carry? Perhaps that is where my fascination with Indian crafts truly began. I slowly came to understand that the beauty of a home does not come from having more things. It comes from choosing meaningful things and giving them the right place, care and context. As I grew older, I also learnt that a home is not merely meant to be decorated—it is meant to be cherished, cared for and preserved.

Connecting Through Spaces & Stories

After marriage, life gave me another beautiful opportunity to experience India closely. My husband’s work took us across different parts of the country—from the far South to the North, from the East to the West. Living in different regions allowed me to discover India through its people, traditions, materials, colours, textiles and crafts. Every place had its own visual language. Every region had something made with patience, skill and generations of knowledge. And somewhere along the way, I found myself collecting not just beautiful objects, but stories, experiences and a deeper appreciation for the hands that create them. As my children grew a little older, I began sharing my own approach to home styling and décor through my page, @tsnigdha18. What started simply as a way of sharing my home and my love for beautiful spaces slowly became a meaningful connection with so many of you.

Our Shared Vision

I never imagined that it would one day lead me here. The idea of creating an e-commerce platform was not something I had planned from the beginning. But the desire was always somewhere within me—to do something that could bring the beauty of Indian craftsmanship into contemporary homes, while also helping preserve art forms and traditions that are slowly disappearing. This website is a small step towards that dream. It is about bringing you objects that have a soul—things that carry the touch of a craftsperson, the character of a region and the beauty of something made by human hands. I am deeply grateful to my younger brother, who has been an important force behind this journey. His encouragement gave me the confidence to take this passion beyond my own home and share it with a much larger community. What began as my dream has now become our dream. What was once my personal journey has become a journey we are taking together. Today, my brother and I are bringing this vision to you with hope, love and a deep sense of responsibility towards the beautiful craft traditions of our country. This is not simply a store for us. It is a celebration of Indian craftsmanship, thoughtful living and the timeless beauty of things made by hand. As we begin this new chapter, we ask for something very simple from you—your love, your trust and your best wishes. The love and warmth you have given me over the years have brought me this far, and I hope you will continue to walk with us as we take this journey forward. This is our dream. This is our journey. And we would be honoured to have you be a part of it.
